Maybe this is a silly question, but I was in Liquidation World the other day and some of their beauty products were marked down so low that if I had my coupons with me I probably could have cleared the shelves. I didn't ask the sales clerk because she was new and so flustered with everything around her, but it got me wondering.

I was told by a liquidation manager that they do not accept coupons.

No they do not. Neither does MTF Pricematters. Any store that is liquidation, closeout, a dollar store, or one that doesn't directly purchase items from the same source a place like Zellers or Walmart might cannot redeem coupons, so they won't get their money back. They're purchasing items "secondhand", so that's the same as me purchasing an item from a flea market with a coupon, the seller wouldn't be able to redeem it.
Also, it's considered impolite to clear shelves
Just so you know.
