I'll be trying online filing this year (have yet to choose which software) -- been doing mine by pen and paper for far too long!

Received the CRA letter today about the changes-glad I saw the article online a couple of days ago. Next Monday, I'm sure all post offices will see a run on paper returns!

    You are probably correct.

saving moola posted Friday`s Shoppers Drug Mart flyer. The BC version as the tax software reduced to $29.99. If you are a SDM points collector, and you spend $50, you get 20x the points for doing your taxes. Could be a good deal for some. And there are up to 8 tax returns per software package.

I did not know about the various stores offering tax preparation services and payment options using points, etc.! Still a paper return filer-can manage the stamp cost.

Mid-afternoon, I'm at the postal outlet at Shoppers and notice the boxes of French language forms and tax guides look untouched.
English language tax forms-about 1/3 depleted, with the tax guides about 2/3 gone! Taking tax forms? There's a little red flash on the forms booklet cover reminding you to take a remittance envelope from the side cardboard pocket.

Envelope is not stapled inside the tax form booklet. And surprise--mailing address is for Sudbury, ON! What it used to be over a decade ago before Ontario was given different tax centres for remittance.

Would like to know if this is the address for all paper returns nationwide or just Ontario. Guess part of the cost savings with paper returns is keeping the processing in-province?

Just noticed today when I logged into my scotiabank online banking, that there was a message with a link for 20% off turbotax online for this year.
