When you first look at something written in braille, all you see (or feel) is a jumble of dots! However, like any other code, braille is based on a logical system. Once you understand it, you'll be able to read and write braille easily. That's because braille is not a language, it's just another way to read and write English (or any other language, such as Japanese). This is an online reading program designed for younger grades. There are interactive books, videos and games designed to get kids reading and having fun. It's free online and you can order books (minimal cost) for the classroom if you want.

Thousands of ebooks for all grade levels/curriculum types. Registration is free, you also used to get a $5 credit when signing up but not sure if that is still in effect.
Every week there is a new free product - which you will be notified of if you sign up for the newsletter. Also, if you search the site by 'price' and click on 'Show only Free Products', there are a number of other items that are free; items are added to this section regularly.

If you just go on this site, you can only access some of the resources, the rest are for paying members. However, if you sign up for their newsletter, they will send you a link to 4 free downloadable items per month - 2 units and 2 activity books.

Beestar provides innovative online math and reading worksheets for kids.Grade1-6. Math excise daily are free, normally it takes 5-10 minutes for kids to finish their daily work sheet which send by e-mail. My daughter enjoyed it.
