Stacking may be allowed soon at Save on foods

I went to london drugs and spoke to the manager yesterday about stacking and he informed me that save on food will be allowing people to stack and they have already been training since last week. He asked me not to quote him on that but it is coming!!!!

I hope that another company starts doing it - one that i have in my town right now we have london drugs an hour away- same with a save on! but it would be worth the trip if i had 2 stores to stack on!

Do you mean the manager at SaveOn? I am wondering how a LD manager would know that SaveOn is going to start stacking - unless they are friends?!

this is very great news...In another thread someone said they were able to stack at at the sumas store so it will probably be allowed soon.

Maybe LD manager knows because save on has gone to them for some tips....who knows

According to the Save on foods manager I talked to today.....it IS allowed!! Memo dropped down on Friday and we are now able to stack (obvious rules still apply) and we are also now allowed to use INTERNET coupons (printed in color with the Canadian rebate address) but not allowed to use photocopied.

No policy on overage though (they will not apply it to your basket or give it to you like at Walmart).

Any questions you can PM me...talked with him for over 45 minutes today - think I may have recruited a new coupon user too!

I must have joined after that thread was expired. I had been looking for the coupon policy for Save On (I tend to shop there a lot) when I couldn't find one I called the store and left a message for the manager to phone me about it (since the people who answered didn't know very much about it).

I then happened to be in Save on and was talking with one of the men who stock the store and he told me I should talk with a specific woman at CS who knew lots about coupons and their usage in regards to Save On. It just so happened that it was Friday morning (the day the memo came down) and she happily shared the information with me. I didn't mention anything until today as I wanted to get confirmation from a manager, who returned my phone call this afternoon.
