So I went on my weekly shopping spree to check out all the deals and get all the stores flyers and stopped at walmart to get a few things including the free ice cream. When I got to the cash register, the young kid got a bid confused on what to do with that coupon so he called over one of the managers... after she explained to the cashier how to use the coupon she turned to me and said, you know we now allow stacking here which they never allowed before...and we now accept any competetors coupons too. I asked her if it is the same way as at London drugs and she said yes. I was wondering if anyone has tried true stacking at Walmart yet and if anyone has tried using the superstore coupons at Walmart in combo with stacking?
This is so exciting if it is true

That would be awesome- but right now I would just love the Sherwood park store to train their cashiers on their new overage policy. One time I tried they gave me $ back instead of applying it to my purchases( cause Apparantly it would screw up the cashout) & the second time the cashier refused to give me the full value of my coupon. Can you imagine overage plus stacking?! Pure bliss!!

I have been trying to find a contact that I can e-mail ref clarification on their policy. Before I go to try this for the first time I want to have something in writing to confirm it...

They tried stacking at Walmart in Langley, BC and it lasted less than a day. They were bombarded with lots of pushy couponers who argued over procedures and were impatient with cashiers. IF we would like this to take full effect in Edmonton we will have to be very patient and helpful as all staff are learning what exactly stacking means. Also - a strong encouragement to do your stacking in small trips when you start as to not totally stress out the cashiers. I would rather do a few smaller trips and keep the policy longer than a day than 1 big shop.
I'm no longer couponing and my dogs have passed away. I can't figure out how to delete my profile. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sorry girls.... but could anyone tell me where to go to get a good definition of "stacking". I'm still unclear how that works.
Thank you!

Can you let me know how it went? Are you going to the St Albert one? They are the once specifically that told me that it is in place.
Ref being patient with the Cashiers, I have never done such a huge stacking that has held up the entire store. I rather do small stackings and take more trips back to the store. Wouldn't want to loook gready either.

Maybe the best thing to do before we stack is ask at customer service and then make sure that the cashier knows about this policy.
