RCSS Pink Triangles!! Got to love them!

Ran to RCSS like I do every Sunday night, to pick up meat for the kids lunches... made my typical detour to the HAB Dept to check out the clearance rack... Spotted some good deals, so went back first thing this morning with coupons in tow. Here is what I got:

I had my first pink sticker sightings today too! They were all over the store. I picked up a few half price things. There was some Gain, but it was pink bottles and my coupon was for green bottles and I wasn't in the mood to argue colours with the cashier.

Last time I was in RCSS I swear I saw a pink sticker that said 20 or 30% off (not the usual 50). My babies were yelling at me and I wasn't interested in whatever it was so I kept moving but is it possible that some pink stickers are for less than 50%?

I usually see them on the end caps of shelves and sometimes they'll have a big portable rack by the checkouts (oh and figure out where they keep the produce and bakery rack-in their respective departments).

At least half the bananas I buy are 50% off. We eat bananas like crazy anyway and if I buy scads, dh's job is to slice them up and then put them in bags in the freezer. He knows that if he does that banana/mango smoothies are in his future.

Has anybody asked for a pink sticker to be applied to something about to expire? I was really tempted today by some mellow blue cheese with today's date on it. I wanted to go to customer service and ask about that but this is a small town and I already had my discount bananas and figured they might start talking about me.

My store has a rack in HAB, one back by the dairy(which has grocery on it), one in the bakery, one in produce and one at the front of the store for the other stuff... so I suggestly hunting them down in your store, as each varies! I know all my major stores, and all their hiding spots for clearance! Get to know yours.

Yes! At my store Meats are reduced by 30%, and housewares by 25% everything else they use the 50% stickers on.
