Question on multiple coupons..

I know the forum shows previous posts when creating a thread so the same question is not asked multiple times. However, I still did not find what I was looking for but it also clarified other questions I had.

My question for today is if I have a $1.00 coupon for laundry detergent of 'X' brand and then have a $3.00 coupon for the same 'X' brand, can I apply both those coupons to that one purchase for a savings of $4.00?

If it is a store coupon + one manufacture coupon you may be able to... it can depend on the store and the cashier.
If it is a manufacture coupon + a manufacture coupon and they don't state it may not be combined with any other coupons (one coupon per purchase is ok on them) then you may be able to combine them at london drugs. remember to price match at london drugs to get the best price, but they will only price match one item.

This is typically referred to as 'stacking' and the only store that allows it in Canada is London Drugs which is located in Western Canada. So if you live out there and the coupons are two different (upcs) of manufacturers coupons it can work very well apparently.

Here in Ontario, we don't have this option unless there are identified as store and manufacturer. Personally, the only example of this scenario that I have seen is the 'coupon zone' coupons at Loblaw brand stores. Even these are now being printed with limitations over using 'one coupon per transaction'.

It depends upon store. Some stores allow to use double coupons but some not so you should contact to their customer relation they will tell you either they are offering double coupons or not.

The PetSmart allows stacking in Winnipeg... they even take competitor coupons. The only thing is you can't get cash back or an "overage".

I used $38 in coupons on a single large bag of Royal Canin dog food last week (73.99 in the 'Peg). The Royal Canin rep was standing right beside me when I did it, and she didn't say boo... it's the stores policy, not Royal Canin.

In the past week, I used $38, $63 and $22 in coupons at PetSmart. All of the cashiers are great; the staff knows me on sight and they never roll their eyes when they see me coming with my coupons! I didn't even know about them accepting competitor coupons until my last visit there.

I love PetSmart! It allows me to spoil my puppy and I pay very little to do it!
