I use this brand but only for the shells I have never found any better but I was speaking to an Italian friend tonight and she told me about another imported brand I may try. The Primo ones I used were still not 100% I ended up not being able to use about 1/3 that cracked. :(

I am hoping that once I get a little more organized I will make my own. I am dying to try making ravioli. I got a really good quality pasta machine at a bankruptcy sale but have yet to use it/ :(

oh ladies!! ( and Curt) I just caught up a bit here again. Been very distracted helping DH adhere to his new restricted diet.
No means NO!! He has to change now or he will suffer healthwise from his habits. ok. I feel better now. Been in a bit of a fog for a week or so, just coming out of it. Lynn you sound like you will soon be off some meds to me!! I am so happy for your progress, that DD knew just the thing to get you motivated once again, big hugs to her!! ( and you too)
Oh Patty, those pasta shells suck! I would've been ticked as well.
Jasper....the wrinkle thing cannot be avoided. A plumper face ( when we are carrying excess baggage) just means the wrinkles are pulled and pushed with fat from behind, so when you lose the weight it is natural that they reappear.
The healthier waistline is the thing to focus on, wrinkles are badges, we earn every one! ( My Mom is 90, she has earned many!!)

Making chickpea burgers today, hopefully enough for the lunches this week.

Well that experiment failed.
I decided not to take my BP meds today. Then I took my BP: 180/101
I immediately took my night-time BP meds.
So tomorrow I'll just take 1 of my day pills and see if my BP spikes again....
Good thing I'm seeing our doc end of the month....rats.

a little laughter for you all. Kidding aside, I dropped to below 100 llbs. (embarrasing to tell you the exact number). This is not good since I've not been sleeping well and don't have hunger pangs:(

I forgot to post!
The gal at HM took my measurements and since joining, I have lost 19.5 inches!!!
I am so pleased with this diet!:blob9:
My BP is still high, however......good thing I'm seeing our doc on the 31st.

Great news Lynn!!!!
Congrats to all who are still working hard.
I am not :P up 3. Bad news is my dad has decided to go back to his bad habits and brought home a bunch of crap from Costco. :( Needless to say there is a reason I don't go there. Why is it when I tell him I don't want that stuff in the house anymore he comes up with the lame excuse that the kids like it or what else is he going to eat? He does not like the vegetarian food that is keeping him alive :( He started going to the resto again everyday and eating eggs so naturally the doc. had t put him back on BP meds. when he was off everything. :(

Thank you, Patty...geez, that's sad news that your dad had to go back on bp meds again after doing so well. And that's he's taken to bringing home Coscto 'stuff'...does he drive there himself? I guess if he can keep that stuff in his room, out of sight, maybe that's the solution? My bp has skyrocketed for some reason, too, which I just can't figure out...I mean, an over-all loss of just over 50lbs and it goes up? Last night I had a chocolate almond milk hot chocolate laced with two tbsp of real cocoa I put in, then a glass of red wine to help things along..and one thing was good: I didn't wake up coughing! That's a nice change!
Hubby and Jenny are still sleeping; I'm anxious to see if my bp has fallen just a little, too...
Have a great day, everyone!!!
