Hello once again......Monday it is.
In a few more hours the day will really begin as I have jumped back on the clean eating wagon again and hoping to stay on it. It's has been a rocky weight gain trip for me these past few months, I regained the lost weight and managed to add some new pounds....so the road back will be long.
Here is to a fresh start!
Walks, no one is more determined than you are when you make your mind up to lose weight. I might even say, "obsessive". But you know I'd never say that! It's great to have you on board again!
I'm back from a self-imposed hiatus too...+ 17lbs since my fall, so today for dinner it'll be one of our favourites: meatballs and spaghetti squash with salsa...love it! Hubby is also on board....just has a bigger tummy now but geez, doesn't it frost your knickers that they go on a diet and a couple of weeks later, {{{poof}}}....all gone and looking svelte as ever!!
Good luck to all of us!!
Wow...hubby just got back from RCSS....$5 for a spaghetti squash! It better be tasty!!!
Good Luck Walks, i'm with you an d Lynn, feeling very determined this week!!!
Ok so I have been feeling kind of blah, thought it was this long drawn out winter but no it's thyroid issues. :(
I have figured out the culprit and am now changing my diet. Tweaking it here and there. If I am right then I should start to loses again.
So glad I talked to my friend about this, he is a nutritionist. Sometimes you think you are doing the right thing but are actually sabotaging yourself with the wrong combo of foods. So back to what was working at the beginning and helped me lose those 50 lbs.
Oh, good luck to you both, TG and Patty!
Patty, I'm glad you got to the bottom of your not losing and can get on the right track now.
Best to all of us!!
It will take quite a few months to lose those 28 lbs I put on in the last 2 years since my initial loss but I know now it will be o.k. Already feel better and it's only been a few days.
I'm now 16wks pregnant with the twins. I lost 10lbs to begin with. I have since gained back 3lbs, so I am still at -7lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. The combined weight of the twins is currently about 1lb. :) I'm glad that my all day sickness suddenly lessened in the last 5 days.
I had the best of intentions returning from Holidays, back to healthy eating and time to find a way to fit working out back into my schedule. Yeah did not happen instead I cam back sick and injured. So two weeks go by this cold finally seems to be giving up and going away think oh just a few more days and we will be back on track, well my body had other plans I have now pulled a muscle in my chest and am supposed to be taking it easy well it heals. On the plus side I am back to healthy eating but who knows when I will be able to start working out.
Now to see what next weeks bring as I am back on the road for a week, hotel living here I come.
Lynn!! Can you believe what this poor sweet doxie was being fed?? There is a happy ending though.

Today after weighing myself I am quite happy to be back in the groove!! Since I began my trek back to portion control and clean eating on February 28 I have lost 11.5 pounds!
Sounds great right? Just too bad that I had regained soooo many pounds over the last 6 months that I had lost prior to this, so I still have plenty left to drop.
Good luck everyone.
Good morning!
Walks, I saw that recovery story of that poor Doxie...thank heavens he's been given the gift of a new life. So there's hope for our Jenny..lol...she's got about 5 lbs to lose and now that the snow is gone from our streets and sidewalks, we'll be able to go for walks....when I get well. Again. Once my bronchitis, not bronchitis it's the flu, followed by my new companion I'm struggling with now, Tracheitis, followed by the new flu of the past two days all go away, I should be fine! Woohoo!
On doc's orders, I'm replenishing fluids with a sports drink (bleh), sugary soda fir energy, my diet is on hold once again. "Health first, diet later.", he said.
But GOOD FOR YOU, WALKS!! I knew you'd be right back on track when you made your mind up to hop back onto the wagon! Great news!
Ashley, yikes that sounds like it really hurts...I've pulled chest muscles coughing and it's no picnic..take it easy, I hope you feel better soon.
Have a lovely weekend, everyone!
