Well I didn't lose any weight in November and December, but on the bright side the average person gains between 7 to 10 pounds over Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas, and New Years. So really it's hurray for maintaining! Also, I didn't get to my goal weight of 120 this year, but started 2013 at 169 lbs and ending it at 139 lbs. I'll say it was a good year. Cheers to everyone and here's to a healthy and fit 2014!

Edited to add: I have not weighed 139 lbs since I was 25 years old. Wow! That was 6 years ago...

SO I HELD MY BREATH, FOUND SOME STRENGTH, AND STEPPED ON THAT SCALE!
    AND WOW!!!

I can't believe I'm not back right up there where I started a year ago!! I lost 50 lbs, but
I'm "only" up 20 from my lowest weight! Which is great, considering I haven't been remotely
watching what I've been eating from Thanksgiving and even before that...summer, really!!!

I'm SO happy!!!! I don't have to start all over...I'm more than half-way there already!
In my own convoluted way of thinking.....

Now I can really determine my weight loss instead of relying on how my clothes fit because I really
didn't want to stand on that wretched thing. Yay, me!!!
...not that I had anything to do with it....but I guess that slow weight loss
meant that I didn't put it all back ON as quickly as I might have had I binge-
    dieted!!

NOW ON TO TOMORROW!! Hubby did my grocery run for me today, so all's in place
    to lose weight!!

Almost through Day 1 of my re-start. It's been quite easy, as it was thru last year when I lost all that weight, which never was the case when I first tried and failing, trying and failing at this diet thing. Thank you, Weight Watchers! (and no, I don't join

    Much success to everyone!
When is our first weigh-in? Still Fridays?
I doubt I'll see much difference by then, but....what will be, will be....

Not a bad idea for a chart...I had a little one on my fridge and omg, it was so awesome seeing
those numbers decline those 50lbs! I'm back up 20, but they'll fall off, no worries...time to
    start another chart!
(ps: this is not mine) But just imagine YOUR numbers dropping off!!
(pps: I started off MUCH higher than this gal!)

Haven't been on in around three months and doesn't seem anyone noticed or cared, lol. My last weigh-in was 202.8 and I'm now at 196.2 pounds. I've lost 5 inches on my waist since I last checked when I weighed 215. I noticed the loss when I sat down last week.

Lol, I was away for a loooong while and I thank my lucky stars that in THIS instance at least, no one asked me where I was; I was misbehaving, I was! But oh the guilt trip they'd have had me on!!

CONGRATULATIONS ON MAKING IT TO ONDERLAND, CURT!!! You must be feeling so different!
So what's your total loss? What differences do you feel day to day?
I recall feeling more liberated, physically, and maybe emotionally, too...you?
Sob...I was in ONDERLAND, but now I'm not..
I'll get there again...not too far to go, but you're an inspiration!

I wish I could say something positive, but in all honesty I feel worse. I started this at around 215 I believe, so I've lost 19 pounds, but I have been as high as 223 pounds. You would think I would feel better, but unfortunately, I don't. I figured having a full-time job and losing weight would help me mentally, but no. I haven't noticed any difference physically, just appearance wise. I will continue on and try to lose the rest - 45 pounds or so. Haven't really done much exercise, so hopefully that will help and use the My Fitness Pal app on my phone, which I completely recommend.

Well, it's been said before: outward changes, losing weight, doesn't solve all our problems, and I guess that's true. If we're not happy in our own skin, find some reasons to be joyful, then cosmetic changes won't do it for us. However, I hope that as you continue this journey we're all on, that you gain confidence in yourself and in your abilities.....keep up the good work, Hon!

Day 2, and I had planned to do a quick shopping trip for some items I need, but with this cold, very cold winter blast we're in, that's not going to happen, so I think it's time to make up a big pot of 'legal' chili today.
And have breakfast...I woke up early, but with Jenny asleep on my lap watching the news etc, it's pretty hard to disturb her simply to get another coffee or breakfast...lol...

Carpe diem in whatever way makes you happy, everyone!
