I spent this weekend helping my brother and his fiance move into and set up the house he had previously been living in with University roommates. His former roommates had gone through all there stuff, and I couldn't believe how much good stuff they were leaving behind to be hauled to the dump. It was crazy

My mom and I ended up sifting through it all and I got some great stuff! An awesome Ikea magazine rack that I had been eyeing up on my last trip to Ikea. Also a grey Ikea rug - it just needs a good shampoo first. Someone left behind an old road bike - a bit rusty and the tires need air, but I've also been looking at investing in a road bike, so this will give me a chance to actually try out a road bike before investing in one, or even just upgrading this one for less.
And finally, apparently one of his roommates was moving to Miami, and left 3 massive bags of clothing behind, and it was all just ready to go to the trash. I was surprised she didn't donate it
Anyway, I took it all and sifted through it, throwing out stuff that wasn't salvageable, pulling out things that I liked and thought would fit, and then kept and washed up the rest to give to my roommate who's holding a clothing drive this summer. I ended up getting 8 new tops and a pair of shorts out of it all.
Anyway, I was very excited and just couldn't believe all the good stuff that they had left behind, destined for the dump. It was a very good exchange for having to clean the bathroom at my brother's house. This thread is currently associated with: IKEA

That is a great deal
.
When I lived in dorms, often going back home for the summer, there would be a lot of stuff that I had to leave behind, if it didn't fit in the car then it didn't come back with me.Try out the maven box by julep And code FREEFB, and get your box for one cent:
