Starting my Valentine's Stash from Post Christmas Sales.

I went to RCSS this morning to take advantage of the 75% off Christmas stuff and also use up some expiring coupons.

Started gathering Valentines Chocolate gifts from their discounted Chocolates.

2 X Hershey's Junior Kisses -50% off = 2.44X2= $4.88 (There, nephews taken care of.)
3 X Quality Street small boxes - 50% off =3X 3.24 = 9.72 -$2.00 coupon =7.72 (2.86 each) (2X DSIL + 1DB taken care of.)

Christmasy stuff:
Gluten Free Christmas Goodies Cook Book (for dh's daughter for next year) 12.71 (not reduced - I may challenge them on it.)
1 box Cards - 75% off = 5.94 (These have blank inside and pretty snowflakes on the outside so I can use them as "Happy New Year" cards for people to whom I hadn't sent a card but have received one from.)
3X single roll wrapping paper - 3X $1.44 (75% off)
1X big package of red and green tissue= $1.44 (75% off)
2 Christmas bags (.94 each) (75% off)
1 box of 2 strings of outside LED multi-colour lights that match those we have outside REG. $49!!!! - on sale for $7.49!!
1 package of plastic clear penguin tree ornaments (for stocking stuffers for next year) $1.44 (75%off)
1 box of 36 mini tie-on bows - red and beige so can be used at other times of the year - $1.44 (75% off)
OH YEAH! And I got 4 large green Glad containers for $2.44 with $3.00 worth of coupons inside! Yippee!

Other stuff on sale and/or +coupons
IOGO yogurt $3.37 - which had a 50% off sticker (but they didn't take the 50% off - I'll have to challenge them on it.) - .75 coupon
Hummus - on sale - 2/6.00 but 50% sticker on it so $1.50 for one
Pumpernickle bread - on sale for 1.98 - with 50% sticker - so .99
Mince Tarts on sale for $3.00
Cinnamon Raisin Weight Watchers Loaf - 3.59 - 50% sticker = 1.80
Bananas (not on sale) 1.07%
MANN'S Snap Peas (which we love as a snack) $3.99 - 50% sticker = 2.00
1/2 pint raspberries (to put on cereal in the mornings) 3.49 (a splurge)
1 sweet potato - 1.08
2 boxes of bowls that match our lunch plates - in the "mega Clearance" - 2.94 each =5.88
2 boxes of Vileda Scrunge cleaners - $2.00 (WUB 2) = 2X3.49 = $7.00-$2.00 = $5.00

A couple of other pharmacy purchases

I'm really pleased because most of these coupons were expiring next week. Didn't expect all the pink 50% off stickers on things we use.

Great deals! My Superstore has 50% off today which just a tiny smattering of items at 75% off. They didn't seem to overstock much this year so I am not expecting my great deals to come from RCSS

i saw a 75% sign somewhere and assumed it was all 75% - oh boy! that's not being a "smart" canuck! LOL! Actually most of the things I listed really were 75% off - except maybe the cards.

Great deals and great idea to use some of the 75% off chocolates/candy for Valentine. Love it. I used to freeze some of the chocolate Santas, Snow Men, etc. and use them for baking during the year. Thank you for posting.

You can always count on Pink stickers after the holidays. Now if I can find a big Dairymilk Bar with a Pink sticker I will be a happy lady! Cheapest I saw it was at SDM for $9.99. Still not a bad price considering the bar is half of the size of me!

Just a hint - if you pick up the coloured foil Hershey's kisses or other candy - use red, white, silver for Valentine's Day and green, white, gold for St. Patrick's Day.
