Being honest like that is always the best policy. Even if they had wanted you to pay for the mistake you would have created good couponing karma for yourself. I don't believe in next life karma but I definitely believe in this life karma.

They could have if I or the cashier would of noticed right away but because an hour had past (because I had gone to another store) there was nothing that could be done.
