OMG - I've just gone into Pinterest overload. I found a girl that has THE BEST knit and crochet board.. .I'm pretty sure I just re-pinned her entire board!

You don't really pin stuff that you make, more like what you WANT to make. So you create "boards" which are like folders or virtual cork boards. Then when you see something on the internet that you like and want to save it to one of your folders/"virtual cork board", you "pin" it.

You can also go through and browse/search what other people have pinned. This is what everyone is talking about when they're talking about following each other or checking out people's boards. So like I have a board for slow cooker recipes, knitting patterns etc. Other people could have baking recipes, kid's xrafts etc. You organize it based on what's relevant to you.


You can also search for ideas. So I searched for "knit socks" or something, you get a whole whack load of stuff that other people have pinned. You'll see the picture and a brief description and when you click on it, it takes you to the source website. (So as dlee said earlier, it's like a bookmark). You can then decide if you want to repin it for futuee reference to one of your boards

Feeling a lot better today. Got some much needed house cleaning done today...still more to do, but can only do so much while Jackson naps. Anyways, beef fajitas tonight for dinner, yum.

Oooh, scored a sweet deal today. I have a $20 GC to Well.ca and they are having a 3 day sale on their coffee, so I got THREE boxes of kcups for under $10 (which also included free shipping!) Yay me!!

Missbee we have two rci's and they are the old school weeks. We do last call a lot in Elkhorn MB but not a lot of others in driving distance and the others seem to be the same as buying a pkg if you have to add a flight..am I missing something ,where do you usually go?

julesie-pie - you can make your own pins too but I don't know how. I don't have much to pin for myself but I love looking at it for ideas.
