my crafts were fairly unsuccessful but I did manage to wrap all my smaller valentine gifts in little pink bags and also punched out about 50 hearts out with a craft punch for my buddy to use for future craft projects. =)

oh Buddy I'm so excited about how your package is coming together I don't even think I'll sleep tonight!!! I'm going to work on some crafts tomorrow for you and I've had my very crafty friends working overtime as well I think you'll be happy and I'm having so much fun spoiling you!

Went to Old Navy this morning and score some awesome deals on kids clothes (for DD & her cousin). They currently have clearance items up to 75% off! Got 4 long sleeve shirts, 1 fleece hoodie, 1 pair of cargo pants, 1 pair pj pants & 8 pairs of socks for $33.42 with tax!!! Two of the tops rang up at $0.47, awesome sauce!

I'm scared to go on because of this....

OMG - I've just gone into Pinterest overload. I found a girl that has THE BEST knit and crochet board.. .I'm pretty sure I just re-pinned her entire board!

how do you pin your own stuff. I gave up on Pinterest after I couldn't figure this out

yarn pantaloons - imagine the VPL on those suckers under say some yoga pants eeep!

You don't really pin stuff that you make, more like what you WANT to make. So you create "boards" which are like folders or virtual cork boards. Then when you see something on the internet that you like and want to save it to one of your folders/"virtual cork board", you "pin" it.

You can also go through and browse/search what other people have pinned. This is what everyone is talking about when they're talking about following each other or checking out people's boards. So like I have a board for slow cooker recipes, knitting patterns etc. Other people could have baking recipes, kid's xrafts etc. You organize it based on what's relevant to you.


You can also search for ideas. So I searched for "knit socks" or something, you get a whole whack load of stuff that other people have pinned. You'll see the picture and a brief description and when you click on it, it takes you to the source website. (So as dlee said earlier, it's like a bookmark). You can then decide if you want to repin it for futuee reference to one of your boards



I eventualy just followed her and stopped pinning.



She has a "how to" pin in there that I think I pinned.

May e our nezt train should be a knit/crochet train! Pumpkin can whip up some yarn pantaloons!

**PI...ZZA BALLS! 3 cans Pillsbury Buttermilk Biscuits (10 per can), 56 pepperoni slices, block of Colby cheese, 1 beaten egg, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, Garlic powder, 1 jar pizza sauce…Cut the block of cheese into 28 squares. Flatten a biscuit out and stack pepperoni and cheese on top. Gather up the edges of the biscuit. Line up the rolls in a greased 9x13 in. pan. Brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with parmesan, Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Bake at 425°F for 18-20 minutes. **Use the pizza sauce for dipping

Good morning lovelies!

I'm a wee bit stressed out today. DH is in the hospital until 3pm this afternoon. He's getting some sort of a stress test try one, but it's the kind where they inject him with something to make his heart rate go up. Has anyone here ever had this done?

His mother died of a heart attack and his brother passed away at the age of 45 from an attack.

I just really, really, really want him to comme.


On an unrelated note........ I got enough free All Bran from Metro last night to last me a decade!

I was at winners today and they had pajamas on sale and was just about to pick up some for my buddy, but then didn't because maybe my buddy doesn't wear jammies. Buddy do you wear pjs?

Also, buddy, is there anything from your stockpile that you're getting low on that I could top up for you?

And one more question.... Are you in need of any kitchen gadgets?
