wow, some really great ideas here!
wendyjane, i love reading your brags!!
coupe - LOVE that idea!! I might steal it from you... everytime I save $ using coupons, contribute to my 'whatever I want' fund! LOL
I'm going to guess 23 - my favorite number
My saving tip would be - reuse/recycle as much as you can, and freeze anything/everything you can! For example, I make turkey broth from Christmas/Thanksgiving turkeys and then freeze the broth (ziploc bags - best way is to lay them flat on a baking sheet in the freezer... much less space taken up!) Or I made WAY too big of a batch of dumplings one night, so I rolled them all out/cut them and froze them!
This can help with our waste too... costs pennies and saves lots from being thrown out!Getting back into trading - see my Trade and Wish Lists (under 'About Me' tab)

My guess is 151.
- My resolution this year is to become more organized with regards to my coupons so that I don't have to throw away so many (though I often leave them on shelves in stores next to products) & not to order coupons that I don't need unless I know of someone else who can use them. I do sometimes trade but seems like most of the coupons I have to trade are what everyone else is trading and not looking for.
- I have been keeping track of my coupon savings but didn't really do anthing special with those savings. This year I intend to actually put the money saved with coupons into an account or towards something special like a trip.
BTW, great shop, Wendy. And also some very great tips from other SCers. Love this site and have learned so much from the posts.

My number is 222
My goal is to spend as little as possible this year but at the same time charge everything on my card that gives me Aeroplan points to maximize my points.

3...3 is a charm (my miracle baby boy after 2 girls)
I saved and collect FPC and used them during pts event at Metro/Sobeys/Rexall...and used them the last week of the month, to saved the cost of foods.
I also redeemed up to 95% at WM, getting the 10% off for the coupons used as well and used that 10% to purchase other items...
December 31st coupons expiry:
I redeemed about $500 worth of FPC (too busy to post/brag) - as my O/N job and 3 kids took the toll out of me.
$500 FPC - $50 (10% employee discount) = $50 worth of FREE foods + $500 already FREE = $550.
FREE FEELS FABULOUS!
I also used the WM MC and get back 1.35% (all the money saved this year will be putting toward a summer trip to California - Disneyland, Sea World, Universal Studios etc...)Last edited by IRefuse_2_PayFullPrice; Wed, Jan 9th, 2013 at 04:45 PM.

My guess is 256 - which is the day of the year that the first Friday the 13th of 2013 falls on (Port Dover here I come!!)
My savings/couponing goal this year is to keep track of all my savings (coupons, 50% off items, clearance item savings, student discounts, etc.)
My personal goal this year (along with my sister) is to create more awareness about prescription drug misuse among youth (in memory of my niece).
My tip: if you can afford it - invest in a deep freezer!! I always stock up on meats/breads/fresh produce when it is 50% off and toss it right in the deep freezer when I get home. As a family of meat eaters this has saved us immensely (not even 10 days into the new year and I have already saved $40 and have enough meat for dinners now to get me through the next 2 weeks (for a family of four).

Today is my birthday and I turn 40! So I will pick 40 as my number
Goal: to take $100 and see how much stuff I can get for it (using coupons too of course) and then donate it all to a local charity. I have seen many posts on SC about how ppl here have helped others and I want to try and do the same!
