Let me know if I'm posting this in the wrong place, I'm a complete Newb!
Today was the first time that I have ever gone out with coupons for specific items and came out doing pretty well.
First stop was Walmart (Northhill location)
Purchased:
1x Pillsbury Cresent dough - $1.96 - $1 coup = $0.96
1x Oasis 1,89L Juice - $3.27 - $.075coup = $2.52 (got a free juice with it)
1x 2pack Magic Eraser - on sale for $2.00 - $0.50 coup = $1.50
1x Glade Sense & Spray - $6.00 - Free = FREE!!!
2nd Stop was Safeway (Dalhousie Station)
1x Vector 400g - 5.99 - Free= FREE!!
1x Oasis 960ml juice - $1.50 - Coupon from previous purchase = Free!!
in total I spent $5.11 saving a total of $15.61
I had some trouble at Walmart, as they scrutinized my coupons, and then also they wouldn't give me a replacement because they were out of Vector cereal. I asked if I could used the free coupon or cost of the cereal towards the larger version and they refused. I understood and wasn't upset or rude to them, but they were very dismissive and told me to shop at Safeway or Co-op.
Safeway tonight was just utterly slow! Only one cashier on! Poor girl.

Should be in brags but not sure it's a big deal. Very well done.

Wal-mart in Royal Oak was horrid with my coupons too! They scrutinized my Glade coupon AND almost refused to accept a french coupon that I had picked up from one of the aisles in THEIR store. At least their stuff is generally less expensive than other grocery stores, or I wouldn't go there at all!
