NHL Predictions

[Stifler]

The Boston/Ottawa battle for the last wild card is going to be great to follow...one point difference at the moment.

OTT plays the Leafs 2 more times...

I am going to put down $5.00 on the Habs making the playoffs exciting. I am lending them my support because...... I wonder how many of you remember Howie Meeker getting so charged up when it came to talking hockey.

A wise man once said keep your stick on the ice,
Too bad for The Leaf's it's just wasted advice,
Their management deserves to have their knuckles rapped,
This déjà vu season – that has been long ago scrapped,
No team alignment, no motivation, no talent & no hope,
Watch them as they swoosh even further down on the slope,
When will Leaf fans have the biscuit once & for all,
My hockey ya ya's have now slowed to a crawl,
Being a sports fan here in The Big Smoke,
Is in all reality some behaviors are an embarrassing joke,
Maybe a new reality sports show....say about extreme knitting,
Would be more civilized and hey there would be no spitting!
I've tried to have hope & keep upbeat & inspired,
But my lucky Maple Leaf jammies have now been retired.

Love it Loocie! but I could never cheer on the Habs or the Sens.
Go Jets! Sorry RHL, can't cheer for the 'Nucks either.

LOL EV

This pre-playoff hockey is intense..........great roadtrip so far for my team. Several players heating up at just the right time. Vrbata continues to impress and amaze me +++

Still crossing my fingers that LA misses.....would be nice if Boston did too and Ottawa gets in.

[electric_viking]

All the hockey from here on in will be intense. Can't wait for the playoffs.

[redhdlois]

OH my gawd.......we beat LA again last night......I was a nervous wreck all game....well, actually before the game too.
Henriks 700th assist was a thing of beauty as was the resulting goal by Daniel.
And we still haven't clinched yet lol so the nerves continue.

[electric_viking]

I admit I do like those retro sweaters like the one mama lack is wearing.

[redhdlois]

YAHOO ! We clinched last night thanks to Edmonton beating LA (sans Quick)......I watched the game....can't believe I was cheering for Edmonton : o
I was waiting until we got the 'x' now I can bring out the car flags and start wearing/sleeping in my jersey......SO EXCITED !
Tomorrow I will be cheering for Calgary.......Playoff tickets go on sale this Friday.......prices were lowered....starting at $88 - $177 so I will be getting me some !

GO CANUCKS GO !!

Leafs Win it All Lord Stanley comes to T.O. !!

I wonder what year that's going to happen.

[redhdlois]

Romeo......the Leafs have to make it to the playoffs first lol

[electric_viking]

Glad to see Calgary & Winnipeg make it too. 4, possibly 5 Canadian teams in the playoffs. Let's hope some make it to the second round. We know one of Calgary & Vancouver will as they are playing each other. Montreal should make it through (boooo!).
Go Jets!!!

[SillyLoocie]

Hey Vike look out....

[redhdlois]

Now the fun begins lol We are all cheering for different teams.....should be lotsa fun!

Home ice advantage is going down to the last game......I got tickets for our first home game on pre-sale last night.....was trying to get some for other games but they shut down the pre-sales so I will have to try again this morning when they go on sale for the general public. I am so excited ! I get to go to my first playoff game.
And my BFF who lives in Calgary is vacationing in FLA I am tempted to do a roadtrip to see our away games and stay at her place.

I am thrilled so many Canadian teams are making it this year.......GO CANUCKS GO !

[redhdlois]

Yahoo ! It's post-season ! So happy for Ottawa ...... bubye Boston
Today's agenda....put the car flags on and finished my bracket.
I am hoping Winnipeg beats Anaheim and Canucks advance......sorry Kesler.....you bailed
