What book are you reading or recently read?

My yearly read of "The Handmaid's Tale"..

The Handmaids Tale is being sot in Toronto and areas right now as a movie. I just saw some great set images from a friend who works on it. I think it was done before but it is such a strong story worthy of a remake.

Just finished reading End of Watch by Stephen King. This was my second try at it. I had started it in the summer but just couldn't get into it. Not his best work ever but it wasn't bad.

The Hiding Place is a 1971 book on the life of Corrie ten Boom, written by ten Boom together with John and Elizabeth Sherrill.
WWII survivor story,I liked it.

I started The Whistler by John Grisham the other day. It's very good so far, although I can't say that I've ever read a bad Grisham book.

Finished The Whistler this morning. The story was good but he seemed to rush the ending. And there was one character that he almost seemed to forget about entirely - had to read almost to the last page for one sentence about his fate. Sheesh.
