There is a new websaver coupon ($5 off Lysol no-touch). How would that work with the MIR?

Could I not use them together? Is that wrong?

There's no need to use the coupon when doing the MIR coz you will be refunded 100% (including tax). I suggest, you keep the $5 coupon for your next purchase.

You could, but there is always the chance that Lysol may reject your rebate since I'm pretty sure it says "cannot be combined with any other offer" or something to that affect, and sc'ers have had issues with their rebates being rejected ((like the Glade fiasco) because they used coupons...

They wouldn't know which coupon was used, but sometimes people have their MIRs rejected because *any* coupons were used in the transaction.

I had an issue with the PF Organic mascara offer when I used one of the $10 SDM in-store coupons (spend $X, get a promo card for $10) as a partial payment; they only refunded me the balance it looked like I had paid OOP.

I just called them and explained the situation, and they sent me the $10 difference.

I agree, how could they know? Just don't buy only one thing and you should be OK.

I don't think it's wrong. Coupons are currency, it's the same thing as paying with a five dollar bill. Though as said, the only bump I could see in that road is the "cannot be combined with any other offer" thing. But again, buy other stuff and they may never know. I think it's unfair to say you can't use any other coupons in the transaction, if that was the case they should say it has to be purchased in a whole separate transaction.

I would cross out the coupon on the receipt if it's underneath the item. Just circle the item in a thick black marker.

But I've used coupons on other MIR forms and had no problem.

You can do it. Just buy more than just the Lysol thing. Then use a black magic marker and cross out everything except the Lysol line....put a line through all your other purchases and the coupon and the subtotal and total. You'll get your full money back....I've been blacking out all of my MIRs and I've gotten all of them refunded to me!

I think of coupons being the manufacturers money that you use to buy their product so I think you can get the refunded the amount of money out of your own pocket.
