The store may not have a limit but the coupons do. The coupons say limit of 4 per shopping trip. I have lots of these coupons, I might just try to see if I can use them all at once, if not I guess I'll have to try multiple transactions, or better yet drag my DH with me and give him the extra coupons to buy the rest I'm sure he'd love to do this for me, lol

She bought these at Save-on-Foods not Shoppers so don't think they have sale limit of 4 ...think receipt "SOM" (not SDM) stands for "save on more".

No, but the coupons themselves say 'limit 4 like coupons in the same shopping trip'.

So even in a situation where a customer has 4 flyer coupons and 4 brandsaver online coupons, that still only = 8 coupons, to a maximum of 16 bottles.

That said, it's up to the store to decide whether they're going to accept the coupons or not. Technically we shouldn't be able to use this many at once but if the store doesn't care, why should we?

I don't think anyone means to criticize, they're just looking for clarification. It sounds like you have great intentions- but there are a lot of new people learning the ropes who read about stuff like this and then get confused. It's natural for people to want to know, 'How did you do this? Did the store require multiple transactions? Did they give you any trouble? Could I do it, too?'

Like I said before, in the end, it's up to the store to make the decision about if/how they're going to accept coupons. I don't feel that anyone is trying to make you feel bad about your brag (because it's a good one)- it's just that a lot of people use the brags to see couponing 'in action', and so questions are raised when they see something that's new to them.

Great Brag, and I agree with Mercuryblue. I don't think anyone is dissing your brag. When I was new to couponing I always wanted to make sure I was doing it correctly, so when a brag showcases someone allowed to get away with certain coupon restrictions, I would want to know if it was even a concern to the cashier or not.

I don't think that this was against any coupon restrictions. I assumed that she used the new p&g ones that don't say limit of 4, but they do have the evil "cannot be combined with other manufacturer coupon". If so, then it was a great idea to use them for this sale, as she was not stacking. Great brag, good for you for getting all of these for donation!

Awesome. I think that's exactly what people were wanting to know- what coupon(s) did she use, did they have a limit, (if so) how do you get around the limit, etc.

Bragging not only feels great- but it's an important learning tool for a lot of us!
