Just wondering if Walmart will accept a Tylenol printed coupon that says it's for Loblaws and Superstore. Anyone have luck with this?
Thanks

My understanding from the policy is that the coupon from loblaws must state a specific price for the tylenol (ie $2.99) and not be something like $2 off.

I was told by a supervisor at Walmart that any store specific coupon will be accepted but input into their cash as a price match.
So if the item is 5.00$ and the coupon is for 1.00$ then the item will be put into the cash register as being a price match of 4.00$, now the question i raised to her was since this is put into the register as a price match can we also apply a manufacturer coupon to this product.
She told me she don't see why not, but will check higher up just to make sure.
I'm teaching her how to coupon at the moment and gave her a binder full of coupons and rebates. She is coming over to my place Wednesday so I can go over things with her better.
I'll be heading out today for my daughters playgroup and then shopping at Walmart, if I see her I will ask her again, if not I will phone her tonight to ask again.
*Fingers crossed* Walmart is definitely getting all my shopping lately!!

their policy is actually extremely clear on this.
they will not match a discount from a coupon. meaning if the coupon says "$$ off", you're out of luck. they won't work backwards and make it into a price match.
if the coupon says "tylenol $$" stating a specific price that the tylenol is selling at, then yes they will see it as an advertised price, and price match the actual price that is stated on the coupon.
coupon zone coupons never state an actual price tho, they always say "$$ off"
if the supervisor said "i don't see why not" *eek* are they even paying attention to the written material that is right in front of them? no wonder they seems as if they are talking out of their tushies half the time and give us trouble over common sense coupon issues. *bah*Last edited by anisa; Thu, May 12th, 2011 at 10:49 AM.

The Walmart Policy Circulating at the moment is simply a guide and is NOT the Official Policy. Expect the Coupon Policy to be adjusted until the Official Policy comes out.
The individual Walmart's are allowed to make exceptions if they see fit, just as one Zellers might not take printable's anymore while other Zellers still do.
Remember it is simply a guide not a policy written in stone!! If my Walmart would like to add to make customers shop at their stores instead of the Independent across the street so be it, I'll definitely shop there instead of the other stores!!
Easiest to simply check with customer service before doing your shopping, if they say yes then even better and if not well it wasn't there to begin with so you never lost anything in the first place.
Anyways I will get all the info I need when I call her personally since today when I saw her at the Walmart I wasn't able to chat as much.

It means they will match the Rexall ones that say xyz at $5.99 with this coupon not $3 off
