That is bizarre. I don't know what type of manager (front store or THE store manager-I did assume THE store manager) he was but he did say the procedure was NEW as of this weekend (they had a weekend meeting) so I assume it hasn't trickled down yet? Several times he said just ask for him and his name...too bad he wasn't there! or the other Brad LOL

SaveOn Foods in Abby is not happy with the person who did a big stacking trip & shelf-cleared 'bigtime', and then zipped down the highway to Aldergrove SOF, and then cleared the shelves there.

(hope people 'behave' themselves, so this new stacking doesn't quickly evaporate.)

eek! very much agree with you! do NOT shelf clear.. the store is just barely rolling out the new stacking policy we don't want it gone before stores have a chance to even get used to it! sure it's great to have a stockpile but don't clear the shelves.. smaller trips more often smaller trips more often! (this also gives you a chance to go to different cashiers so they can all get a bit of experince with stacking)When life hands you Edward Cullen...throw him back and demand Eric Northman....

I know those shelf clearers do exist. My very first coupon shop at a store just recently I bumped into a couponer with 2 FLATS of an item on sale for $1 with 8x11 sheets of the $1 PDF printed. I was walking out (very proud) with my 4 free boxes of ziplocks and my 2 juice and was in shock. As I was leaving she was going back in for 2 more flats...I went back 2 days later to get a couple more but they were long sold out.
I kind of appreciate some limits since I can only get out about 1x per week to hunt coupons and shop and it's hard when everything is all gone (including the 4x4 3 hight pallet display) on the 1st day of the sale.Last edited by jujubetwins; Thu, May 12th, 2011 at 10:50 AM.

Save on Foods on Cambie St is a Good to Go. I was there on Friday night, and I talked to Brad. He told me he has talked to all the managers. The Asst. Operations Manager was there helping out, it was a great experience.
The Listing says "Bordel" is this Nordel??

I checked today and it appears the SOF here in Salmon Arm is too.
The woman at the CS desk had no clue but a phone call to someone else confirmed they are doing this.
Unfortunately, none of this change has been told yet to the cashiers. Sounds like I may be blazing new trails if I decide to try it out

I have, twice now. First time I got VH sauce x2 for .44 each and Silk Soy for .49, and then the second time I got Oasis OJ for $1, 3 cans of chunky for $1 each and Old Spice body wash for free. They were really nice there, but it was kind of slow. Understandably, as they are just learning and what not.
Amazon and Starbucks GiftCards for Searching the net? Yes I did and so can you!
