Is this mystery shopping opportunity real?

Hi there,

I signed up to be a mystery shopper and received an assignment in the mail which included a check for $100 of shopping, $2,000+ in western union activity and $500 to keep. The company is YVR. Has anyone else ever worked with them? I have never been a mystery shopper before so I'm not sure if this is a scam. I didn't have to pay them to get the job.

YVR is Vancouver Airport..

Anytime I see Western Union in regards to a job oppotunity..my first thought is it's a scam, probably a along the lines of this advanced cash/cheque fraud.

No No -that is a scam. Contact the police and give then the check and the information immediately.For legitimate companies go to the mystery shopping providers website for information
On good companies to work for or go to www.volition.com for a listing of companies. Never a answer ads that will send you money to do jobs.
