Thanks. It's great that you put this in English & French. I wonder what the cashiers would say if I brought them one in French.

I might stock up tomorrow on John Frieda hair products, Frizz-Ease, etc. Have two $10 WUB 3 coupons and John Frieda is on for $7.99 (regular $13.99). Buying 6 will bring my subtotal up to $48, then I'll buy something else. I've been using a lot of their "Go Blonder" products which I love. They can get expensive though at normal price. These two coupons for $10 should bring my total out-of-pocket down. Good buy for about $4.60 each.

Just wondering with these secret events do they count coupons towards the total $50: will you get points if the Opps is below $50? Many thanks.

Official coupon policy (I carry a copy in my bag) states that coupons DO count towards the total.
Now here's the unfortunate thing. With the secret events you need to use a coupon. And now it's up to the cashier to scan the coupon. And it would seem that the majority of cashiers are not knowledgeable/trained when it comes to this policy. So it can be a struggle to get them to scan the coupon if your total drops below the $$ amount.
Personally, I try to avoid these days. When it is a regular promotion, it is programmed into their systems, so I don't need to worry about having to argue with a cashier to get my points.

At least with this you only need to wait around 10 days, so can easily return things if no points were awarded in the end. I will in the future try to avoid those that the points are not awarded until months later: which in my opinion is ridiculous. I have read some people got their points awarded after all coupons and VIB coupons points removed, from this SDM forum, for the secret 20x points event on Jan 9?.
