Sometimes people get "extra" peelies by buying a product with a peelie on it and not using the peelie (maybe they had a better coupon they wanted to use), but some people do "steal" peelies, but we probally shouldnt get in to whether or not it is stealing, that's a heated topic on SC haha

This question goes to the seasoned SC'ers we are trying learn, can someone moderating answer some of these questions that we look for as guidelines, good practice or just plain wrong. I think it isn't right unless you purchase that day.
I've been on SC for a long time and I still don't know the "true" answer to this question.

    What I have gathered is:

It's VERY frowned upon to take peelies and not buy the product. Peelies are INTENDED by the manufacturer to be used when purchasing the product they're stuck to, BUT since coupons legally have no cash value (and they say that right on them) then it's not actually considered to be a criminal offense. It can however, be considered destruction of store property, which has it's own set of consequences that come along with that.

That's just what I have gathered over the years. People still do it, they're always going to do it, but IMO it's a little shady.
