Shopper's Drug Mart had Axe body spray on sale for $3.99 (down from $5.99). I had a coupon for $2 off so I only paid $1.99. Yay, right? Well I got so excited about my good deal find that I didn't notice that the cashier didn't give me my change from $10.

Great deal!??? Get $2 off, Spend $10!

yes i would go back. I had an ordeal with SDM last week too. They had motrin on sale for $1.99 (original price was $6.99) and I had a coupon for $1.50 off but the cashier said they don't accept "printed out coupons from manufacturers. We only accept those with shoppers drug mart symbols". she wouldn't even let me speak to the manager. I was pissed. SDM doesn't have a national policy on online coupons so it just depends on the individual store on whether or not they accept them. NOT HAPPY.

I'm really sorry to hear about your trouble with SDM. The store I go to here is awsome. Maybe if you went back and asked some else if you could speak to the manager and then nicely explained your two situations, they might be able to help. I have had some not so nice cashier also, but any encounter I have had with a manager has always been very positive. I always try and remember that " you catch more flies with honey"

Lot of stores don't accept Internet printed at home cpns ..Metro , Price Chopper , Sobeys etc to name a few , so don't feel bad .

definitely go back before your store closes (if it's not 24hrs), they'll do an audit on the register and if it's out close to what your change should have been you'll get it back. I've done that at wal mart lol when I worked there because you only get so much time for breaks I'd be hustling to do my shopping so I wouldn't be late and then not realize it til later.

SDM's are independantly owned, therfore can totally create their own printed coupon policy. Perhaps that store had issues with PDF'd, or even photocopied/fraudulant coupons having been accepted. It only takes getting burned once, for someone to change the rules.

If it makes you feel any better....a few weeks ago at SDM, I was so busy giving the cashier my bags, my coupons, watching to make sure everything was entered correctly, I forgot to give him my Optimum card (and he didn't ask...very unusual), and they have a policy (at least at my locals stores...I've asked at a few) where they won't add them at a later date grrrr...lucky it wasn't a bonus point transaction, otherwise I'd be writing to the prez lol
