So, the mexican theme on chopped tonight and my recent cravings for mexican made me realize that I may need to go to the real place one day! Oh...and I'm apparently making a Mexican themed sock lol

glad I could help! yes, applying for the card now might not make too much of a difference but it might make more of a difference later. this is just the early stages. and Trent can possibly get scholarship money and other educational benefits so go for it!

Thank you dlee, that is very helpful. I am not on income assistance and I think that's what I gathered from the stuff I was reading. It would be nice if they just wrote stuff in plain English..LOL I am going to apply for my card and if it can help Trent with schooling then YAY he wants to be a Marine Veterinarian so I'm guessing that won't be cheap, it would also be really nice to have some help with the $40 000 in medical bills we are dealing with after 4 years of chemo (and that's with "FREE" healthcare! ) for the boy and since our government wouldn't help me as a "white" woman I would have absolutely no problem having them help me as a Metis woman. I don't hunt or fish..LOL but I am happy that Metis are now being recognized Thanks again, I appreciate your help!!

Haha - yah - it's called "spring fling" but it looks more like a pinata to me! They'll make a good house sock...or a mother's day gift...she's gotta love it if it's made with love, right? Lol...the pattern for the heel was messed up so I kinda just made something up. I'll be finished the toe today so the second sock will be started tonight...likely won't match since there have been a few "lessons learned"!

OMGosh 1H45mins later I have PINK ticket I love this lady!!!!!! I listen to her funhouse CD a million times after I found out I had cancer. Plus I have never been to a rock concert in my life. 36 years old and this will be my first!!!!! it was so hard not to just buy the $500 backstage eperience but I went with the respecatble first balcony as this was the price point DH and I agreed on But who cares I get to see PINK!!!!!!!

Oh Mich I just picked up my mail and recieved the pug labels they are so beautiful I love them thank you so much I feel so spoiled I will post pics as soon as I get home.

Oh my we just added to our zoo I have wanted them for awhile by never did anything about it. Well I found a deal on kijiji that I just couldn't pass up.



I found a 55 gallon tank with just about everything I needed for $50, to buy new would have costed me over $500. Then headed for the pet store and bought 4 large and 6 small purple pincher hermit crabs these little guys are so awesome

Hopefully they will keep me occupied until the next package train :D
