OMG - I just got excited and almost peed my pantaloons a little! I just saw the Michael's flyer...Bernat Handicrafter cotton yarn is on sale next week 4/$5! I'm so excited! This is a big wish for me, and I'm totally stocking up! AND...everyone's getting dishcloths from now until forever (knitting helps with my anxiety/rage-o-hol and I can make these dish cloths easily with a baby in my arms!)


Buddy....is there anything you'd like from the Body Shop?

If you could describe yourself as a flavour/scent which would be? I'm the Lime in the coconut.. fresh, tangy, but still a little sweet!

Are your pantaloons all about comfort or style? Used to be style, now leaning heavily towards comfort.. 30 extra pounds makes the "cute" undies not so cute... and horribly uncomfortable!

Dedicated laundry room/style: no style, washer & dryer fit under the basement stairs, hidden behind bifold doors.

Type of undies: hipster, high cut brief, tanga, thong..

Most wished for: yikes, tough one.. anything from my wishlist, wallet, change purse, or the "Clear Jel" I mentioned.. only because I can't find it anywhere!

Painting from Slam: Any wild animal print for my dressing room.. or anything "Italy" inspired for my bedroom.

Three things: (not on my list)
$10 and under - Plastic cutting board (forgot to add on my wishlist!)
$5 and under - Fuzzy ankle socks (like the kind with the pom pom, but fuzzy soft ones)
$3 ish - Plastic egg flipper, rubber spatulas

Body shop - Haven't been in years, they used to have this fresh rain, spring rain type scent (10+ years ago, I think) but any purse size lotion would be great!

Sewn item - a tote bag in denim, animal print, or funky pattern.

My undies would say - Trouble, Naughty, "Nickers"..lol, a play on my name..

I'm good with either wearable made pantaloons, or a craft made from pantaloons!

For the USA, I had one item on my list, the Reynolds crock pot liners.. I think they carry them at the US Walmart, not sure about Trader Joe's or Target. Other than that, perhaps an interersting flavour of Clif bars? We love the original style (not all the "builder" crap they've come out with now, lol!) and the US usually has all the fun seasonal flavors we don't get here.But really, anything you think "looks" like me, I'm happy to receive

For jewelry, I prefer a bracelet over necklace as I usually wear the necklace by BF gave me for our anniversary. However, I have very small wrists, so think.. child size..

Cellphone is a purple Blackberry Curve, which I hate! Loved my old Nokia flip phone, I don't use a cellphone much, usually just for texting, and the buttons are so small on the Curve it takes me twice as long to send a message...

My kitchen is a sagey/grey green.. white cabinets.. countertop TBA. I've renovated the cabinets when I moved in, (they were like laundry cupboards) with the intent of doint the counter too, but havent' done that yet. Was planning on black granite tile (DIY again, much cheaper than the solid!) but missed the sale.. Now I'm thinking I'll only be at this house another 5yrs or so, so contemplating a more affordable option...

Books... I haven't read a book in ages other than textbooks, but I used to LOVE to read. I think once I came upon SC, it's monopolized most of my free time! I do love the crime mysteries, I think there are a couple new one's by Elizabeth George I havent' read, or I really like the Kathy Reich series too.. again, not sure if any new ones, last one I read was likely 3-4yrs ago!

What type of FABRIC do you prefer in your pantaloons? 100% cotton, Cotton blend, Lace, etc. etc.... I prefer the cotton spandex with a little stretch for everyday, and for fancy, I like the stretch lace... Least favorite is the nylon type blends... yuck!

RE: Bathroom theme.. my buddy will likely know this already (I think I desribed this??) but most rooms in my house have photo's of travel locations. The bathroom is Paris, France. I am planning, however, to paint my white cupboards an expresso brown, frame in the wall mirror, and add a new countertop. Walls are a very light taupe. I've already bought the vessel sink, have most of the accessories up, but need to get those cupboards out of the way.. Oh.. and make a roman blind... (the list never ends!)
