The Brentwood Mall (Burnaby BC) London Drugs customer service rep said they were no longer stacking!
Anyone experience this either there or in other stores? Wondering if stores are allowed to decided whether to stop or not.
(ended up going to my regular store and stacking was still allowed)This thread is currently associated with: London Drugs

If stores are experiencing serious abuse of stacking I'm sure they're allowed to stop, but that's a manager's choice.
Did you talk to the manager? Just like everywhere else, CS reps can be totally full of it. LD is generally good for having great CS people, but there's always the occasional bad apple. I'd talk to the manager for clarification and see what's going on.

I've been to a few LD from Surrey to Vancouver and half of them told me that as long as the coupons state "limited one coupon per purchase" or similar wordings, then they can only accept one coupon per product. In another words, NO STACKING since 99% of the coupons have those "limited one coupon per purchase" or similar statements

Mine in Duncan is saying no stacking if it says cannot be combined with any other offer or anything like it which is most coupons so that pretty much ends it for most people.

I have stacked a pack of TP since the new P&G coupons came out.. without the double up with those extra coupons.. LD prices just do not make going there worth it. You can watch for sales at Walmart and other places and use single coupons to actually get the better deal.

That is worth a phone call to head office... they are more then willing to sort that out. at london drugs one coupon per purchase means... one of these coupons with this UPC... one of these coupons with a different UPC ect, as long as the coupon does not say can not be combined with any other offer or that combining with other coupons is strictly prohibited... then it is allowed... the coupons just have to be different

Thanks everyone for the responses. Unfortunately I didn't ask for the manager. Hopefully this isn't the beginning of the end of stacking as we know it at London Drugs!

I had the same issue at North Van location...my first attempt at stacking and I was shut down! Most of my coupons have the wording (or similar) "cannot be combined, or one coupon per purchase" etc.....I think I will try the West Vanc store and have a chat with the CS or manager there and see what they have to say.

I stacked yesterday for the Finish Quantum dishwasher tabs and the free dishwasher cleaner (LD coupon book offer) in Mission BC. I used a variety of the Smartsource coupons (last one and the one before) and had no problem whatsoever. I've done a few stacks there with no issues - they're very polite and obliging there, probably the best one that I've been to.
A couple of weeks ago a few older ladies wheeled up to the CS desk with a cart full of stuff attempting to stack the P&G online coupons with the insert coupons and were told that they couldn't. The manager that was dealing with them was again very polite and was trying to help them figure out how to get the best deals.
This is by far the best LD store I have been to in this regard but.....let's not all try to do silly things otherwise they'll stop too! I have only ever gone in and done a couple of items at a time. The dishwasher tabs yesterday I purchased 4 boxes of 15 as their coupon book offer was a free dishwasher cleaner with the purchase of 2. I had more coupons but did not want to clean them out.
