It's been an awesome couple of shopping days. Headed to WM last night and found a Neutreogena Clincial on the clearance rack for 2.00 because it was damaged. Used my ten dollar off coupon! Woot! I went there to get a Hello Kitty bedding set for my daughter's b'day. Found one on clearance for 23.00! Scanned at full price so I got 10.00 off for a SCOP. Minus my 8.00 overage, it cost me only 5.00(plus tax, of course)!
Ran into a RAOK Fairy at CT on Monday. I was buying flowers but picking and choosing because my gardening budget is small and she walked over and handed me a ten dollar gift card. It was an older lady. Someone had given it to her and she didn't need it. Made my day!
Today was Double Coupon Day. I did 4 transaction because you can only use three identical coupons at a time. It is a huge CO-OP with lots and lots on the shelves so no one panic at how much I bought. In all of the years I have shopped there, I have yet to see them ever run out of anything. They will only double up to 4.00(a 2.00 coupon) and they don't take printables but they will take, for example, the 2.00 off wub2 VH sauces and the 2.00 off fresh meat wub2 VH sauces. It makes for some really good deals sometimes....like today!

On a bad note, I was shopping at Zellers last night. I was buying a pair of shorts and a JUSTIN BEIBER t-shirt for my 12 year olds b'day so I let the cashier know it was for under 14 and therefore tax exempt. She refused stating that she thought it was for me and I was lying to her. Seriously? I am covered with tattoos.....do I really look like I would be sporting a Justin Beiber t-shirt? Really? I went back today and complained and they actually refunded me the cost of the shirt but I was still annoyed. This thread is currently associated with: Co-op, Giant Tiger, Pharmaprix, Shoppers Drug Mart, ZellersLast edited by Jody22002; Wed, May 25th, 2011 at 05:00 PM.

The shirt is so funny how you tell the story LOL. About the one day only double coupon at the Coop, if it is one day only then you should go nuts. I think everyone is talking about these things that you can get almost every day at a good deal. WTG on your brag I still need to get more organized

I love the Coop brag. We have a Coop here too. It is a members only Coop. The prices are not bad and they beat the price of everything on the first page of Sobeys and the Superstore flyers every week.....BUT they do not have double coupon days. I would love that.

I have a tattoo yet I'd still rock a JB T-shirt
Just kidding (on both counts). Great brag and so glad they refunded your money!
