rolls (even pilsbury crescents mmm)
scalloped potatoes (a can of cream of mushroom soup oured over your sliced potatoes with cheese in between each layer and bake for 65 min at about 350 or until potatoes are cooked, you could even add bacon
any kind of salad, quinoa salad would be an interesting change
you could try new recipes with the sides you already know your family likes, such as lemon flavored rice (some chicken stock, lemon juice, chili poowder, garlic powder, celery salt and seasoning salt to taste, even the kids love this one and they hate anything with spices in it)
sweet potato fries you could have meals like fajita's where you don't need sides

Gnocchi
Stuffed Pasta Shells
Cannelloni
Brushetta
Lasagna
(can you tell I love Italian food )
Soup (Chicken, vegetable, cream of mushroom, minestrone)
Chili
Stew (Chicken, Turkey, Beef)
Fruit Salad (more of an after dinner dessert)
Or cut fruit on the table like apples, oranges, strawberries, watermelon in the summer
Celery Sticks with Cheez Whiz
Salad but at our house we put a bowl of plain lettuce in a bowl and put bottles of salad dressing on the table like Italian, Cesar, Ranch & Greek and croutons and then everyone gets to pick which type of salad they like my favourite is Italian dressing with cheese cubes and sliced tomatoYou know you love me xoxo Gossip Girl

mmm, love the yorkshire pudding suggestion! great ideas above.
I've been looking for a recipe to use some fresh herbs from the garden this year & just came across this three bean salad that I love. it's going to be a staple for the summer months. substituting a smaller amount of dried rosemary works well if you don't have fresh on hand -- http://simplyrecipes.com/recipes/three_bean_salad/.
