Hey and welcome!!!
For starters, this is a FANTASTIC thread and will help you get lots of coupons in your mailbox! You'll need to start accounts with these websites, but they are worth it!
http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/121306-...oupons-canada/
Also, look in the coupon section -- there are always new ones posted that you can get from websites, mostly printable, but there are usually quite a few there
You can trade for coupons (under the trading section), and some members will trade coupons for stamps.
You'll get the hang of it very quickly and it's addicting! Have fun collecting coupons!!Last edited by happy_me24; Wed, May 25th, 2011 at 11:32 PM.

Hello, I'm new also but since I started I got a nice collection my coupons now! But first start with websaver.ca, save.ca, gocoupons.ca and maybe someone with more coupon experience can also offer some input. Welcome to SC's

I am new as well, but something I have found pretty handy for coupons is going to the brands actually page, I don't know if it is the time of year or anything but I have been finding alot of coupons there, and also facebook has been pretty good as well for some, I don't know if this has always been like this but the advertising on the side is related to what you put as "what you are thinking". The other day I had something about couponing and I saw something about crystal light and now they are sending me free samples.....Very addictive thing to get into but it is FUN!!

Welcome to Smart Canucks, follow the links the others suggest and just keep your eyes open at the stores for tearpads.
Most Importantly: You don't have to use every coupon you find, even if it's a great deal. Don't go running all over town to get a $1 item free.
Good Luck and in a few months you'll be giving advice to newbies.

Also, usually Superstore and Sobeys (two of the stores you have listed) are good sources of coupons.
And, there is a post on here that lists some of the products that have coupons on them. I love products/coupons attached items, especially if you use a coupon to purchase the original item. I like that more companies are doing this type of promo, since you can collect lots of coupons but you have to purchase the item to get them(or find them in recycle bins, if you are lucky!!).
An example for me this week...Sobeys had Corn Bran cereal on sale for $2.99 (good price by itself)....I had a coupon for 50 cents off making it $2.49 and each box had a coupon for a FPC for Quaker Granola bars....so for $2.49 I get a box of cereal and a box of granola bars!!
Here is the post listing items that have coupons on them:

Hi and welcome to SC. Your in the right place to get all the help you need. As others have said, the best places for canadian coupons on save.ca websaver.ca
gocoupons and brandsaver.ca Also make sure you check out the hot freebies page to find fabulous finds and links to free samples (and they usually come with a great coupon attached.) Myself, I will often take a walk throught the stores I frequent once or twice a month and scout out new coupns that have arrived, that way you can take a couple (please always remember coupon etticate and take a few and leave some for everyone else). Everyone here is very helpful and if you need anything or have any questions feel free to PM me and I will certainly try and help you. I have been couponing for over 20 years, I live in the west not sure where you are from but all stores are different. A few stack coupons, others don't. I can send you the coupon policy for stores you frequent if you would like, just let me know. Happy Couponing! We all need a little sunshine every now and then
