Remember all the zombies advancing on Carol and Tyreese in the sneak peak? Maybe they lead them to Terminus and they overrun the place allowing Carol and Tyreese the opportunity to break the others out.

I am more interested in why Sgt. Ford drops to his knees in absolute despair. The look on his face is like all hope is gone. Do they make it to DC and Eugene dies?
