Well, they certainly went out with a bang.
Great episode. They had Herschel and Maggie on talking dead after and Maggie (Lauren) was almost crying because they killed off Herschel.
Was good that Michone struck the blow to mortally wound the Gov. And that Lilly was the one to end his life.

Wonder where they will end up now? Will Carol return? They still have Melissa McBride's name in the credits so I assume she'll be back.
Was hoping to see Daryl freak out on Rick a little more when he found out what he'd done.
Interesting with the butterflied rat. I think it's Lizzie.

Going to be a long haul to February.

When the Gov was laying Rick out, I thought for sure he was going to kill him. Oh and the look on Michone's face was perfect.

I think that Carol had probably set herself up someplace safe, that everyone is going to regroup, find her. Lizzie will be found out and Carol is going to take her out. Carol will forgive Rick. But Rick is going to take some massive crap first. Possible leadership struggle. Carol is very strong.

I guess that now that the Gov is gone, Patty and I are going to have to share Daryl.

I don't know if Carol would take out Lizzie.... but I DO wonder about a sub-plot lie EV mentioned earlier... maybe opposing camps forming with Rick & Carl vs Carol/Lizzie ? Probably just the age factor w/ Carl & Lizzie that leads me down that train of thought..
