How about Sony? I own a T2? I used it for 5 years. It never bring me any problems. Good battery life

FWIW I have had a Fuji Finepix A330 for 4 - 5 years. and its been very good. I just use it for ordinary shots - mostly of the grand kids. extremely satisfied.
try Canon or Nikon instead of fuji.
