So I work in retail (clothing). Every single day people drop stuff all over the floors, rip open packages, leave their coffee cups, food everywhere and then complain that the store is messy. You know why its messy? It's not because the employees throw clothes on the floors, open packages etc it's YOU.

It doesn't matter how we organize things. We could put the same size of underwear on one peg (we have tried this), people will still take everything off and throw it on the floor. It's all the same size and colour!!!
Don't get me started on the washrooms. I don't understand how grown adults have such a difficult time flushing toilets and turning off taps. It's not rocket science.

Yes there are a lot of human pigs out there.....and the public washrooms are another conversation......makes you wonder what their living conditions must be like.....

Sorry people do that. I think most folks are not like that. I guess any job where you have to deal with the public, you have to endure that.

You can say that again,i worked for 15 years in a kids clothing store,people would rip the package open even though there was one opened,I had a customer once tell me isn't that what they pay you for to clean up

at LEAST 80% of people are like that.

I cant tell u how many gross hot dog nubs stuffed on shelves at my last job.
(there was a meat stand in front of the store)
I could go on and on but anyone who's actually worked retail knows what i'm talking about

I feel bad for anyone that has to work retail and deal with all types day after day. And you're right, in general people are pigs. We've all seen it. Coffee cups, pop cans, even gum stuck on shelves, it really erks me when there is a trash can sitting right next to the pillar less than 10 feet away!!! It really is a filthy habit.

I had worked in retail for years, and I have to agree with people are pigs. I once watched a lady pick up every single T-shirt that I folded look at it and toss it on another pile. I asked if she needed help to find a size and she said she was just looking. That stuff I can handle. One day 2 male co-workers called me to a changing room and there was dirty feminie hygiene product on the floor. He told me to clean it since I am a girl. I looked at them and politely told them since they found it, they can clean it and walked away. LOL. I have found dirty diapers weekly in the changing rooms. I am so glad I no longer work in retail, but because I did, I am very cautious with how I put clothes back when I am done, and I do not pick up folded items untiL I find the right size.

Ahh, retail. I`ve actually put my 2 weeks into my current job because people are far too much for me to handle.

Somebody has pissed in a change room. Also we`ve found medical bandages with blood on it. (No not a band aid, I mean gauze from some sort of large surgery. )
