I just read in my Courrier that they are giving away 12 annuals and 1 perennial (I think, that's what a vivace is right??) for FREE!!!
You must show proof of residency for the Ahunstic-Cartierville area to receive them.
You can pick up the flowers in a store from your district:
Bordeaux-Cartierville - 5090 rue de Salaberry, bureau 102
Ahunstic - 10416 rue Lajeunesse
Sault au Recollet - 2331 rue Fleury Est
Saint Sulpice - in Parc Jean Martucci
SATURDAY MAY 28 ONLY!!!!! (sorry for posting so late, I just saw it now)
STARTING AT 9:30AM!!!!!
I'm assuming that it's first come, first served...
The ad also says please bring your bags or containers to pick up your plants. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Oh hey, my neighborhood's doing the same, too!

I don't see any proof-of-residency requirement, though I might not be reading it right (no english translation - so I'm doing my best).
If they would require proof of residency, what would they want to see?

Although my French is not perfect either... I also did not see anything about a proof of residency. IF you want to be on the safe side, just bring along a bill with you; hydro, phone, etc..
I hope they have some nice flowers at the ones I go to!!!! Maybe I will have to buy a couple flower pots!

They did ask for proof, but it didn't seem serious. I happened to have a piece of mail in the stroller, so there was no issue.
I got 3 flowers! They had compost, too, and herbs & tomatoes for sale. But it was raining and my kids were getting hungry so we took off once we got the flowers. Yay!

Aww
I arrived only about 10 minutes after it started, too. Took me an hour (including walk time).
I have some seeds if you'd want to start your own flowers...

If you have kept your containers for recycling purposes from other plants. I have 2 coupons to use for 1 free ''annuelle'' when you bring back the containers at the Botanix located by the 440 & Curé Labelle.
Just pm me if you want them.

You're so sweet!! Thank you very much for the offer, but I don't have too much space for flowers anyway. I was more planning on buying a couple pots since the flowers would have been free anyway
Which area do you live in? I'm about a 5 minute bike ride from the Salaberry location.
