Great Experience at SD in NS - Overage!

So I went in to Shopper's today right at 8 for when it opened, to make sure I'd get my four Advil Nighttime 10s ($2.99 sale) with my four $4 coupons, and my one Purex with my $3.00 coupon (the Purex with Zout wasn't on sale so I couldn't use that $3.00 coupon). I expected to have trouble and that they would put the coupons in at the value of the product, or the product in at the value of the coupon - but instead when the girl called the supervisor, she said to put the full value of the coupon in and just make sure I had enough other product that they wouldn't owe me money - so I went back and grabbed another Purex on sale at $2.99, and a couple Ajax dish detergents, since I needed some anyway, and my out of pocket for two Purex, four Advil Nighttime 10s, and 2 Ajax dish soap was $3.64! (Regular value before sales and taxes is $53 & change). Was awfully excited about getting the overage added to my basket!

I wasn't so lucky today... The cashier was being a really big B word. So I left and said I would buy it at walmart.

I used two of the Purex coupons and the cashier charged me a penny for each and the taxes. I ended up paying $0.72. I told her to put the value of the coupon at $2.99 but she wouldn't. She also said I could only use one coupon so I got her supervisor. I don't know if I got ripped off or not...

Great buys....

Not all SDM are the same. Sydney River is fabulous. Sydney (Prince Street) was okay today, but totally different experience. They questioned whether or not I had a $4 coupon for the $2.99 Advil or a $2. Had it been the $4 one, I wouldn't have been able to use it.
