Went to WM last night and had some great success! despite one of the managers being kind of pissy at us for using coupons and getting stuff for free . we were being pleasant the entire time, hubs asked her if other people have done the same thing with coupons and she replied "no, if they did we'd be broke..." in a snotty tone. i wanted to say something about them being manufacturers coupons but just kept quiet. anyways on to the brag...

transaction 1
12 x finish starter kits @ 4.99 PMed to zellers, with $6 off coupon
Subtotal = $-13.11

transaction 2
6 x boxes of cereal PMed to zellers 2/$4 deal = $2 each
2 x Arizona green tea = .99 each
1 bag of chips = $1.37
Subtotal = $2.20

HST = $7.96
TOTAL PAID = $10.16

If all was paid retail without sales/coupons, we saved over $190!!

Great job!! I don't know why people have to be so pissy about others saving money. They must be jealous because they don't have the know-how to save money like you did!!

Great job. I really wish stores would have a training hour with cashiers and educate them on the process of using coupons and what happens after the store takes them. Some cashiers look at you like you are stealing, and it can take all you have to stand there and not say a word.
