$1 any Size fountain drinks are back!
While I can't confirm 100%, the rumour mill seems to be pointing to a start date of April 30th 2013.
I will update this thread as more info comes available.

Start date is confirmed. TV ads are playing, signage is up in most stores, the promotions page on the website displays it, AND... I Just got back with my $1 large Fruitopia.
It's ON!
I was so disappointed last year when the large ice coffees weren't $1 like the year before.

The McDonald's ladies told me there is also a button for cold water - free.
Yippee! Sometimes a spot of Fruitopia or Coke on the way home from Walmart is just the thing to get me home in warm weather.

I don't believe it will. I got a tip on this, and it was commented as "fountain drinks" ... since iced coffee is not technically a "fountain drink" I suspect it won't be part of the promo.Quote:

Again, not expecting them to include the iced coffee as they did a couple of years ago. The US promo doesn't even include it this year - and they did last year, even when they didn't here.
Last year the medium was included, not the large. The large was $1.50. At least here it was.Quote:

Within McDonald's there are corporate owned stores and franchise stores. The Franchise stores can choose to participate in promos or not - AND they can set their own prices. The Corporate owned stores, on the other hand, are fully involved with the promos and pricing is consistent.

I guess the Iced Coffee thing was a regional thing. It wasn't available at the stores in and around New Brunswick.
The details I am getting are from within Atlantic Canada, so obviously this promo (when I get more info) will vary between regions. -- as is typical with McDonalds anyway, as the coupon books would also indicate.

As for Mcdonals in our city we have 4 restaurants.And 2 of them allow one refill the others 2 ones are self serving unlimited:)

I know someone who is working on this year's promotion... the promotion start date is not yet public.

The fact is, the promo isn't live, and hasn't been announced. I would hate someone to run to McDonald's expecting a deal that doesn't exist.
