My job just got recently down-sized so I am pursuing a passion of mine. I am starting to design costumes. I am collecting leather items pants, coats, skirts, larger bags. Age, color, style, and condition can be worked around. I take the items apart clean and condition them. Unfortunately I can't get the smell of smoke out and some people are very sensitive.

I am also collecting old sheets to make my muslim mock-ups so I can get the fit right before cutting into my material. This is very important because I don't have any formal training except home ec and my imagination. I have done costumes for awhile and have always enjoyed them.

I am a strong believed in recycling so many of my items are made from old prom dresses, clothing, zippers from other items, etc.
