Part of me says, it's nice that he remembered and you should be thankful for his thoughtful gesture. The other part says these are only going to last a week. I really would have preferred some fruit from the grocery store next to the florist. We're completely out and I have cravings, darn it!
Sigh. I know we'll never have similar shopping habits, but sometimes, I wonder if I am a little too tight-fisted with money. I'd just feel a little better knowing all these things were paid off first. Then I'd be happy about the flowers. Well, happier if it were a rosebush I could plant in our barren garden....
I know, I'm being difficult. :(
