No Inserts in Journal today???

So I got up nice and early and hit the paper box....someone took all the papers. THEN I went to the neighbouring macs and someone had gone through all of their papers. So I hit Save On and Shoppers and I couldnt find ANY inserts in any of them. So....does any one know for certain....is the brandsaver even in today's journal because nothing appears to be!

What area of the city are in in? I am in downtown Oliver, I checked two boxes around 7:30am and there was no inserts in them. If other people aren't finding them elsewhere AT ALL I wonder if they were inserted...

i just did the same thing in my neighborhood. so far, I've thrown out 8$ in journals and have nothing to show for it. i am soooo annoyed

I'm not wasting anymore money on $2 Edmonton Journals today. I'll take a peek if I'm in any stores that sell the Journal but definitely not buying one without knowing what's in it! Will try again with the Sun tomorrow at least it's only $1.

At this point, it seems only newspaper subscribers are having the inserts. I can't believe that someone would rip off however many papers fit in that blue box, inserts. So now what?

I'm so bummed. First someone ripped off my inserts from my Examiner, then someone hit all the paper boxes. This isnt fair! I just want the P & G one so badly I can taste it. My friend was able to get 7 of them....mind you...she was in Taber. I doubt there are that many couponers out there. It just hardly seems fair...especially when you have no money and those inserts make me so happy.

Alevry78- I hear ya! I'm so emotional -lol-- over inserts???????? WTH? I was excited, then mad, then annoyed, then hopeful and now I'm just defeated!! I am pretty sure I'm not going to be one of those lucky ones who nab multiple copies. *I know, pathetic!* Prolly just seems worse b/c I havent had my coffee yet!*

I just go to stores to look through the papers and they don't seem to have inserts of any type flyers included.

I been to 4 stores so far and checked them and nothing was in them. Im wondering if they were never put in at all today???

It seems unlikely that someone went around and raided all the Journal Boxes and all the stores we've been to by 10 am. I never had a problem getting the Smart Source. I think maybe they were not inserted, perhaps we should call the Journal and ask?

I just read on another site that someone emailed the Journal and they responded that they are only given to mail delivered papers and can no longer be put in the jounal for the stores or boxes.
