Flat Irons used here, have 2 new ones. A curling iron for DD is great and a new hair dryer would be super

I am going to be honest, I only use a hairdryer and usually only in the winter. I would love to try a straighener. Has anyone seen the move The Host? Was it any good? I really want to see it but dh doesn't.

HAHA! Awesome! Very witty, nat!
Fruit candy - Junk food just doesn't stand a chance in my house! I don't think there are many sweets they won't eat!
Clear shampoo - Sure! He'll try anything
Buddy do you have any need for a hairdryer, flat iron or curling iron?
I would love a new straightener/flat iron...I have one, but it is getting pretty old and I use it almost everyday, so I with my luck, I am sure that I will be getting ready to go some important event and it will kick the bucket on me (Like my blow dryer did 2 hours before my sons grad! )

Jody I hope your DD is ok. nothing worse than a child in the hospital.
good morning all.. what a night.. was up until nearly 12 with my son, again, finally get to bed.. my brain starts going..
finally convince myself i need sleep.. then around 2-3 am.. well lets just say, something i ate didn't agree with me.. get back to bed.. and took another while to relax..
then hubby and other son came home from being out.. i decided when my 8am alarm went off.. to heck with it.. i slept in.
im looking forward to this week. finishing projects lined up. getting brows waxed, hair cut off, room booked/paid for, keys to room, pickin up cake/cupcakes, settling on dress to wear. making sure my son's room is done. (he says today) will see.
oh and wait til you see pics of what i found yesterday.. for $.50! OMG. I can't wait to hear the comments on Saturday. LOL
busy week. anyway ladies. hope you all are enjoying your weekend.Be Strong

Cakes & Cupcakes...
Been on my brain for two weeks!
I am Chair of the Parent Council at my kids school(s) and we are hosting our annual Cake Walk at the elementary school on the 19th...
With the new Healthy Eating initiative mandated by the MOE, we can only have 10 days each school year that do not comply with the regulations, which means that we either lose MAJOR fundraisers, or try to coordinate them...
I run/organize Hot Dog Day and the Cake Walk, and we are hosting them both on Friday.
In addition, we had booked a Family Movie Night for Friday (the 12th), but what with the ice storm and all, we had to reschedule to ~ you guessed it ~ the 19th!
Going to be a VERY LONG and busy day!
Wondering how Emma is going to hold up...
Have to be at the school around 7am to have stuff set up for 7:30 when the cakes/cupcakes start arriving, and the movie doesn't start until 7 pm, which means that by the time it ends and we finish clean up, we will be at the school for around 15 hours!
Long day for a 4 year old!
Feel free to send me your 'lucky' vibes in recruiting more volunteers!RRLF: Cineplex Passes, Optimum Points (and my sanity...I think I lost it a while back )
