The Pampered Ladies Package Train

Packages mailed! One going East of me, and one to the West.....lets see which one arrives first lol

oh I'm so happy you got it and liked the package I was looking for the metal things for your stove can't find them even our Walmart doesn't have any mind you ours is hopeless at times lol,
funny I keep checking the Canada post site said the package was still out for delivery ;)

CMOntario... :sweet: thank you so much. i have to say, after having have been SO patient on the advent train, waiting to open a new present every day. it was nice to have a box almost dedicated to just me..

in this box was
a package of pocket kleenex for my purse
a box of long envelopes
a toothbrush (with NOTHING on the back of the head, amen!)
a brown square knitted container (going on the lazy susan on our table, matches perfectly)
a box of hot chocolate (after eight and all OMG so drinking this for the next few days, my throat hurts so bad its tastes so good)
a beautiful burgandy mug made just for the hot chocolate
a second cup i'll keep for my tea/coffee
a bouquet of roses, tulips, carnations.. they look so perfect in the vase in my bathroom.
a package of gloves for dishwashing
a Canadian living magazine.
a pair of fuzzy pink socks. hope i dont' wear these out too fast.
a Spatula from Wilton for decorating. we had like 4 of them.. where are they??? maybe off on some resort island with the missing socks.
two packages of cupcake liners. too cute.
a container of sprinkles.
a package of razors.. with the nice weather coming, guess its time to treat the legs nicer too.
5 bottles of nail polish .. so very pretty, blues, purple, and pinks.
3 chocolate bars. Lindt/Cadbury. drool!!
a set of sweet looking tea towels.
a bottle of Mio.. YAY!
the most precious silver/ivory angel trinket box. keeping this in my bathroom for my jewelry.
My husband got a febreze car scenter.. and a washing sponge. Betsy def. needs a bath!
Each of my sons received a toiletry bag with deodorant and body wash.. both HIGHLY needed.

I did this too. I had an alarm in my phone for yesterday that I had to mail my package so I found a box and made everything fit... Didn't think I had time to wrap like I wanted and forgot the card (will mail seperate as it has gifts in it)... Oh well. At least I wasn't late mailing :)

got home a little while ago from delivering my package to the lovely Gaylene (garbagepicker). had a wonderful visit with her and the kidlets. it is so nice to meet fellow SC'ers!!!

I still haven't received my package yet but I'm starting to look forward to the next package train!... Father's Day? Already, I'm having shopping withdrawals.

Buddy, your package ETA is this Friday but I think it will be there by Thursday ;) I'm really excited for you to get it!

Hint: My buddy lives in a different province than me.

Recipe day!!

7 layer dip - I layer this in a pie plate

1st layer - cream cheese mixed with some miracle whip
2nd layer - cooked ground meat seasoned with taco mix (I use ground chicken or turkey)
3rd layer - refried beans - (I usually mix it with the meat so kids don't suspect)
4th layer - salsa
5th layer - grated medium cheddar and old cheddar
6th layer - sour cream
7th layer - green onions

Sometimes I add a layer of olives when we have company...DS doesn't appreciate olives though.

This is NOT an everyday dish as it's decadent and cheesy! :)


Crockpot Meal

Turkey Chili

I start off with 2 packages of this sausage

2 pks of turkey sausage (I use Maple Leaf Hot Italian)
2 diced large onions
4 cloves of garlic minced
2 diced red peppers
2 diced green peppers
2 large cans of whole tomatoes (mashed)
1 can of red kidney beans rinsed
1 can of black beans rinsed
1 pkg of chilli seasoning (Old El Paso or Compliments less salt brand)
3 green onions sliced
1 handful of parsley chopped
1 handful of cilantro chopped
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon sugar

Remove sausage from casings and cook in a pan until browned
Drain and add meat into crock pot
Add all other ingredients and top up crock pot with water
Mix and adjust salt (some seasoning mixes have a lot of salt)
Cook for 4-6 hours
Serve with crusty baguette bread

So, the sausage has amazing flavor to begin with so it’s a bit of a cheat. Y
ou can also add mushrooms (we don’t like them in chili).

ENJOY!!

I'm glad you got it! I thought it would be safe to leave on your front porch (no one answered he door). Your street seemed very quiet! I was such a nice drive yesterday - all of the cherry blossoms are in bloom - so pretty! I accidently left something out of your package - I'll get it to you - you can have it for your birthday!

I got my package!! Thank you so much RSAS (I didn't know it was you at first since you didn't include your user name but I checked out the thread and you are the only one from Duncan!)!! That was a quick delivery for sure! I will go find my camera to take some photos but I just wanted to say thank you so much - DD is very excited about the fondant rolling pin - she all ready took it out of the package!
