I already ordered a bunch of skirts this morning and some $7 Canada Day tees that I'm going to send my friend in Maryland who has 3 boys and was living here for 2 years. Her youngest is a Canadian citizen since he was "born abroad" LOL

Ok you twisted my arm. I ordered online & got 2x Minnie Mouse Canada shirt (size 4 & 5), I'm 3 t shirt, cute sandals for DD & ankle socks for me - $40 after taxes & 30% off. A bit ouch for me as I normally by second hand for $1 per item or in store on clearance. Last clearance shopping trip at old navy I picked up several shirts for $0.47!!

DD occasionally had green poo when she was little too

Keep me informed about the magazine. I'd seriously consider a subscription!!!

And don't feel bad about the cookies. It's seriously a small bag!!!

I'm glad your appt went well. Children's Hospital is amazing. I"m confused though - are you going for your child now? Or a baby on the way? I think I missed something in the thread, LOL.

Not sure where you are, but I've been seeing PB Cheerios everywhere here. I want to help you find them!!!

Lol it might have been the blueberries that caused hers too now that I think about it

old navy is the best for children's clothes. It depends on the location & you have to dig through the clearance section. In my experience the messier it is the better chance you have at finding the lower price items. I also seen shirts for $2.97 then get up to cash and they ring in for $0.97 or $0.47! I always shop the clearance for bigger clothes for the next year at end of seasons!

I did this with my daughter and it was awesome. Not just at Old Navy, but Gymboree too, and there you can often stack instore promos with the coupons that are in the magazine, so sometimes get up to or over 50%. I would buy $2.99 tees and shorts, sweaters, dresses, etc. Awesome.

Tried doing that with my son, but at one year he was diagnosed as failure to thrive. He's now just turned two but still wears 12-18month clothing and all the buying ahead I did for him, he won't be able to wear.

I'm not sure. I bought 2T, so if he's 2T size next year he'll wear them, but if his size doesn't match the season, I'm just going to sell them on a swap site. I'd probably make money! LOL

I find that once they start reaching the year sizes it usually seems to last them the whole year. My DD will be 3 in June is in the 95th percentile for height & the 10th for weight but been like that since birth. Weighted 6.6lbs when born & 50cm now 26 lbs & 96cm. She is my little bean pole wears size 3 now (probably be in 4s come the fall) but ALL her pants are taken in at the waist. I have a whole bunch of size 18m osh gosh shorts that she wore 2 years ago taken in on both sides, last year taken in on 1 side, then this summer I think they will fit "normally" lol

LOL Oh I know. The toddler years seem to be tricky because you really do have different body types emerging already.

My son was born super healthy - 7lbs 11 oz, but at one year was about 16lbs and didn't even make the chart. At about 8-10 months he just stopped growing!

He's now caught up in height - he's in the 15th percentile, but weight could be better.

Having said that - he isn't a " sickly child" like you would normally associate with FTT.
