Sorry for being MIA.... I was at wonderful weekend away at Girl Guide camp for just the Guiders (leaders).
I learned how to cook outdoors several ways, mostly with charcoal but the most epic thing of all was called a trash can turkey with baked potatoes. It was amazing. We also made dump cakes in a box oven, hamburger soup, a whole ham, and biscuits in dutch ovens.We also made quesadilla on a tin can stove. I will post some pics once my phone charges.
Learned more about planning, budgeting and rules and regulations from our Safe Guide program.
AND of course the comraderie of 26 amazing ladies.... we had campfire friday night and just a eat and yack night saturday night.
I was good and stinky when I got home yesterday afternoon. Hubby and I and the puppy went for a drive looking for cool rocks for our garden plans this summer.

Having a lazy day, I have to go back to work tonight after two weeks off boo.

oh Suz sounds like a fantastic weekend. I was GG's too, went to camp once as well. LOVED it, remember the last night we were there, we packed all our stuff up and slept in our sleeping bags in a row. I was so dog tired I was the first one tucked in LOL. I was teased relentessly about it the next day.. it was fun. i was so glad to see my parents though the next day. I still have a pic of me and my mom at the camp, what a fantastic experience it was for me,m everyone i knew was a great friend of my parents, leaders etc. best way to spend a girlhood. I just wish i'd carried onto it in my adulthood.

Happy Monday Ladies

We had a great weekend here, super nice weather.
I went to a Pinterest party on Sat afternoon, awesome to try out everyone's favorite recipes. Then my friend invited us to her house for a bbq then back to her sisters-who had the pinterest party, for the evening for a bonfire. Had fun and lots of laughs. Saw some friends I had not seen in a long time. We needed a fun night out.
We paid for it on Sunday. Pretty lazy day, had a nap, then was outside again and over to my parents for another bbq.
Pretty overcast here today, need to get caught up on laundry and some house work

DLEE!!!!!!!! Sneaky lady... got my package! I got a txt message from DH this morning saying that a package came for me from Vancouver.. and as soon as I realized that, I asked him to read me the name of the person who sent it... I asked him if it said "Dorcas" or "Dlee" and he said "DLEE"... LOL

Can't wait to open it when I get home from work this evening. Thank you in advance Hun! So excited~ And I'll PM you my email you right now, like you asked

We had a great weekend here, super nice weather.

I got my package!!!!! That sneaky Armygirl76 throwing me off her trail by talking about stuff she bought for DD!!! I got an AMAZING package, I am overwhelmed at the thought and time that her whole family put into this box, Thank you
