No e-reader for me I read some books on my i-phone but I am to cheap to buy an e-reader, i am hoping that one day my hints will activate in my DHs brain. I love reading and will read any and all books, seriously no joke, Mom caught me reading the yellow pages once. I am looking for a good book on Feng Shu (spelling?) but I will happily accept any book. Romance, fiction, drama, historical, sci fi, etc are all read in my house.

speaking of healthy eating..

last week a sample rep gave me 4 of this coupon: $5 off 3 Danone products exp. Dec 31, 2013. I'm off dairy right now so can't use them. I've been so crazy busy lately that I haven't had time to really do a VWT train or coupon trading. only really have time to do this package train and my RAOK train. so I thought I would just present it to this wonderful group of ladies so they don't go to waste.

Not here either. My husband loves his and so do my parents but to me it just isn't the same as picking up a book and turning the pages. I always tease my husband and friends who have them that it just isn't right, that it is not reading "books" and that I read "real" books=)

Okay ladies my burning questions

I will share a personal story with you about self image. 2 1/2 years ago i had to have a surgical operation because of my cancer that resulted in a divise being placed on my stomach (it is visable in tight clothing and embarrising). A year later i had not put on a swim suit we were in Disneyland at the pool and I was sitting on the side of the pool. My dd looked at me and said Mom please come in, to which i replied Hunny i can't people will see the outline in my swimsuit. DD got out of the pool walked up to me and said. Mom you can sit on the sidelines worring about what a bunch of strangers think, or you can get in the pool with the people who love you and dont give a crap what you look like on the outside. (DD was 12) I got in the pool lol. Let the people who love you tell you how you look, they are much more honest.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree...I hope she hangs on to that great attitude!!!!

guess you guys are going to have to bare with my not so much there in thought brain for a bit. hubby is now on midnights. and im not adjusting very well. sleep is sporatic. and my head is lost in the clouds of what to do. im so used to having the day to do whatever, laundry, cleaning etc. now i feel i have to be quiet. the phone rings im grabbing it.. and considering the new shift came when he had some projects on the go. the house is sorta upside down. im trying to figure out how to work around this schedule. he literally is going to bed when im getting up and visa versa. the boys haven't seen him for more then 30 minutes in 3 days. for my kids that like turning them upside down and telling them to walk. huh what? even with warning they are lost. he's their 'bud'. im not sure how weekends are going to go. he's home in bed at 7 on saturday for the day. wondering if he'll just stay up and have a short nap. i hope we adjust fast. anyway back to the train.

So one of the 2 loves of my life my Pug Kimbo had to be taken in to the vet this morning he was acting funny just spoke with DH they have sedated him so they can X-ray him they can't get a good exam of him because he is tensed up they think he is in pain. Funny guy hasn't made a sound. So if you can say a little prayer for my little buddy it would be much appreciated. I think he will be fine but I of course am worried for him.

Oh buddy! If you haven't already put it on your list PLEASE indicate if you have an eReader. You can ask Nat but I gave her a stick with over 600 books on it so... whoever gets from me (provided they have an eReader of course lol) will likely be getting the same thing and if you have anything specific I'll ask my dad to find it too

I prefer to hold a 'real'book but I do have an e-reader(kobo)and would love a 'stick'!!!!!

Finally caught up - you ladies are very inspirational! Foot size 8 (and wide - have very sturdy feet) Favorite color are pastels and peach! I have an e-reader and would love a stick. Books - anything on gardening. Just finished a roasted cauliflower and sweet potato soup - I love these 5 ingredient meals - this one has cauliflower, sweet potato, onion, garlic and water!

The turkey baster we have is my husband's. I'm not allowed to use it. He has monopolized turkey and roast cooking. He loves doing it. He takes pride in the turkey baster he researched and drove 1 hour away to buy.

As such, he earned the nickname "Master Baster".
