Mmmm, I love apple chips. If I had a dehydrator, I"d make them. YUM. Tea? Loose or bagged! I love trying new things, and I like sticking to standards.

These are the ones she's made "for me" or at least for people with my kind of allergy.

The does have nicer stuff, LOL.

Of course this is the right answer and usually I don't have a problem speaking my mind, or being honest, but at the same time, I hate the confrontation because she is a friend (not a super duper close friend, but we are in the same circle of mom friends).

I drink more coffee than tea, love my K-cup tea, use leaf and bags. As long as it's not too herbal I usually like it. Earl Grey is my fav (too my star trek I guess lol)

Yuppers ONLY Red Rose Orange Pekoe Tea, I have tried many and flavored stuff is out, I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I love my flavored creamers and the two just don't mix

Ok better late than never! Here is the photos of the mail barrel on one of the small Galapagos Island. There isn't much left of the old one! The sign post box sign is where the old one was (2nd photo). 3rd photo is the new & currently in use barrel. 4th is my sister in a giant tortoise shell!

Sad news, I won't be able to deliver the postcard to Penetang next weekend as my sister accidentally took it back to her house (it got mixed up with the one she was going to deliver) & now she is in Vegas, so I will have to wait until May 2-4 to deliver, boo.

I have a friend who makes jewellery. She has an etsy shop, a FB page, goes to craft and bead shows, has been published in magazines and really is a true bead artist.

She has a Spring Show in her home tomorrow afternoon, where it's basically the jewellery she's made for the spring season - summer. She's invited me to go of course, and has invited a bunch of people.

Here's the thing - other than the fact I have a metal allergy and can't wear 90% of what she makes, the 10% I can wear, is SUPER expensive. She does use unique, hand blown beads from artists from Scotland and other parts of the world .... but it's WAY out of my budget.

Eg. She made this with cord silk instead of a chain
    and it's $70 CAD.

    or
    $115 CAD

So here's my question - should I go and not buy anything? Or just not go (and then not buy anything!). I don't want to tell her that her stuff is too expensive for me. People are buying it - I just can't afford it. And frankly, it's not my style, either. It's lovely for other people, but not me.
    LOL!

    You are obviously super considerate...
One MAJOR flaw of mine is that I am too honest.
That's right, TOO honest. I say exactly how it is, and that sometimes offends and/or hurts feelings (which is DEFINATELY NOT intentional, I just have an issue with censorship, I guess).
I wouldn't even think twice to tell her that it is nice and all, but that's expensive! If I were going to pay over $100 for a necklace, it better be made of white gold and have a diamond in there somewhere!
(Although I really think both necklaces are REALLY pretty )
